EVA Travel
Ethical Volunteering Adventures
Welcome to EVA travel, a vibrant home for everyone who wants to travel with purpose and give back a little to make a big difference
SUSTAINABILITY
As travel becomes increasingly disruptive to local ecosystems and populations, we want to redress that in a small way and make sure we leave a positive and sustainable legacy where we visit by ‘giving back’ when we travel.
COMMUNITY
We are a community of like-minded people of all ages who want to enjoy a holiday with a difference. Every tour we offer has a volunteering element of 3 to 5 days and leaves a meaningful impact both on the traveller and the community we visit.
PROJECTS
The range of activities is widely varied and can include assisting with elephant care in Cambodia, helping to build homes or chicken coops in Tanzania, making food for sloth bears in India, building water filtration systems in Morocco, painting schools, chopping bamboo, handing out menstrual pads or any of the many other activities we can contribute to in many more countries.
We work alongside the communities we visit and are guided by them. The key to sustainable travel is listening to the people on the ground and helping them with what they know they need, not what we think they need. It's a privilege to be able to use our personal skills and resources to make the world a little better every time we travel.
SMALL GROUP TOURS
Our small group tours range from 6 to 16 people, including solo travellers, groups of friends, partners and parents or grandparents with children over 18.
OUR DESTINATIONS
In addition to our give back tours to Cambodia, Tanzania, Morocco, Northern Ireland and Borneo we are working with local community leaders and hope to add the following destinations in 2026:
Nepal, Rwanda/Uganda (with gorilla trekking), Ethiopia, Namibia and French Polynesia
EVA Travel doesn’t have all the solutions for over-tourism in today’s world, but we aim to make all our tours fun, immersive and deeply satisfying for you while leaving a positive impact on the places and people we visit. Travel with purpose with someone you trust.

What an amazing time with Sheila Fitzgerald. Our Cambodia / Laos (2025) adventure certainly didn’t disappoint! We saw and did so much from the very sad day at the S-21 museum and the Killing Fields, a dreadful history and not so long ago! Volunteered at the Cambodian Wildlife Sanctuary where we met Kavan the famous elephant rescued from Pakistan by Cher and many others! The Hero rats helping to eliminate some of the thousands of landmines still undetected! A very interesting afternoon helping to put together 3 wheel chairs paid for out of our fees and the following day delivering them to very deserving victims of landmines in local villages! So many wonderful experiences shared with a fabulous group!

"Where do I start? This trip to Tanzania was the best travel experience I've ever had. Between the volunteering with children side-by-side with locals who are so passionate about their purpose, to the immersive tribal experiences - dancing, eating and sitting with tribe members as they share stories of their life, to the 5-day safari, where we were fortunate to see the Big 5 and the Great Migration right before our own eyes."
